Our journey began while working at one of the UK’s largest mobile app development companies, Waracle. In our positions as Head of Design and Head of Design Research, we regularly worked together to onboard new team members and became increasingly frustrated with how difficult it was to organise welcome packs. After hours of online searching, contacting printers and negotiating costs with suppliers, we gave up.
We realised that other companies must be facing the same challenges in sourcing employee and client gifts – and so Go Swag was born. Using our expertise in designing digital services, we’ve created a seamless process to source and distribute swag, drawing on our UX know-how to develop an intuitive and seamless customer journey.
We know that good relationships lie at the heart of business success and it’s our mission to help companies build better connections with their teams and clients. We’ve assisted our customers to celebrate partnerships new and old, as well as first days, last days, and everything in-between. Using our creativity and connections, we work to enhance corporate relationships with beautiful and bespoke gift packs.
Sustainability and quality is at the heart of everything we do. Uniquely among swag providers, we are committed to leaving the planet and the merchandise industry better than we found it. We’ll always recommend using recycled products that can, in turn, be recycled. We fill our packs with genuinely useful items – never gimmicks. We carefully select high quality and long lasting items, that recipients will be able to use for years to come.
Our small – but growing – team make the magic happen at Go Swag. We’ve built the type of company we would want to work for, never paying less than the Real Living Wage and offering flexible and family-friendly workplace policies. Our first warehouses were based in the Cowlairs area of Glasgow, a part of the city with a rich industrial history as a former centre of railway manufacturing. Our HQ now is within the Hillington Industrial Estate, which is renowned for its industrial history and has recently evolved into a modern hub for diverse businesses and technologies.
We’re lucky to work with a fantastic range of partners, enabling us to fill our packs with beautiful and practical items. From coffee roasted and ground in our native Glasgow, to the finest quality Scandinavian outdoorwear, we’ve scoured the globe to build relationships with a huge range of fantastic suppliers.
